Glyactil Pads promote a gentle yet effective renewal of the skin surface. The pads contain fruit acids that remove dead skin cells and give a firmer, smoother and more even skin tone. Regular use also removes blockages and helps prevent inflammation of the hair follicle. Do not use on the eyelids or under the eyes. Mild stinging and tingling may occur. It is recommended to start with 10% strength; reduce use if skin irritation occurs. For a more active peel, Glyactil Smoothing Cream is recommended as an active moisturiser after the pads. Active ingredients Glycolic acid (10%) is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that removes dead skin cells and gives a natural peel. Glyactil Pads contain glycolic acid in a treatment concentration. Glycolic acid works in the uppermost layer of the skin and weakens the bonds between the skin cells in the epidermis, giving a light shedding of the skin (peeling).
