BIO-MESO PDRN 60000 is an innovative, needle-free skin treatment that has received a great deal of attention on social media, especially TikTok. The treatment is also referred to as a "Glass Skin" treatment, inspired by the Korean skincare trend that is about skin with an intense glow, even skin tone, smooth texture and a fresh, well-hydrated look.
The treatment combines microscopic spicules from freshwater sponge with PDRN, peptides, ceramides and moisturising ingredients. The aim is to improve the appearance and texture of the skin and contribute to a more even skin tone. The result varies from person to person. Although the treatment does not use traditional needles, the spicules can cause a tingling sensation during and after the treatment.
How does BIO-MESO PDRN 60000 work?
The treatment combines several active ingredients that have different functions in skincare.
PDRN (Sodium DNA) is a DNA-based ingredient complex derived from salmon. PDRN is used in skincare products developed to support the skin's renewal processes.
Marine spicules are microscopic, needle-shaped structures from freshwater sponge. They stimulate the skin surface and help create temporary micro-channels that can increase the uptake of ingredients. This is the basis of the treatment's needle-free approach to skin stimulation.
17 different peptides are included in the formulation, divided into eight anti-ageing peptides and nine growth factor peptides. Peptides are used in skincare to support the skin's structure and contribute to a smoother and more well-groomed appearance. The formulation includes, among others, peptides linked to skin firmness, visible signs of ageing and the skin's natural renewal processes.
5 types of ceramides – Ceramide NP, EOP, AS, AP and NS – help support the skin barrier, retain moisture and keep the skin soft and supple.
Panthenol (vitamin B5) helps add moisture and care for the skin barrier.
Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps support the skin barrier and can contribute to a more even skin tone.
Glycerin and squalane are moisturising ingredients that help keep the skin soft and supple. Phytosphingosine and cholesterol support the structure of the skin barrier, while adenosine is used in skincare products aimed at visible signs of ageing.
Collagen and elastin are also included in the formulation.

Before and after treatment
General advice for you who are about to have, or have had, this treatment.
After a consultation you can get access to before and after photos. Download Beauty Medical from the App Store and we will send you a password.
Before treatment
- Tell us about any medicines (especially blood thinners), allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, herpes and previous treatments.
- Come without make-up in the area to be treated, and with freshly washed skin.
- Avoid alcohol the day before and on the day unless otherwise agreed.
- Avoid sunburn and active skin irritation in the area.
After treatment
- Avoid make-up and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours.
- Use a gentle cleanser and plenty of moisturiser; avoid acids/retinol for the first 3–5 days unless otherwise agreed.
- Use sunscreen (at least SPF 30) daily.
- Avoid sauna, tanning beds and hard exercise for the first 24–48 hours.
This is normal
- Small swellings (wheals) at the injection sites that disappear within 1–3 days.
- Slight redness, tenderness and small bruises.
- The skin often feels dry or tight before it becomes softer over weeks.
When to get in touch

- In case of severe pain, white/pale or bluish skin, visual disturbances, difficulty breathing, severe swelling that spreads, fever or pus: call the clinic on 403 11 017 immediately (outside opening hours: legevakt 116 117 (out-of-hours emergency clinic); in case of acute danger 113 (emergency number)).
- Hard, painful lumps that do not go away or that grow.
