HarmonyCa
HarmonyCa is a hybrid injection with a dual-action effect. What sets HarmonyCa apart from other biostimulating and hyaluronic acid-based treatments is that it contains two active ingredients, both calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and hyaluronic acid (HA). These work synergistically to improve skin firmness by giving an immediate lift from the hyaluronic acid. At the same time, the treatment gives a long-lasting lifting effect by supporting the body's own collagen production with the help of calcium hydroxylapatite. Collagen production in the tissue increases as early as 1 week after the injection, but the results will develop gradually over time.
How does the treatment work?
HarmonyCa is an injection treatment for the face, where we place the product with a cannula (blunt needle) so that it is gentler. There is local anaesthetic in the product itself, which means that most people do not find the treatment very uncomfortable. As with all injection treatments, there is a risk of mild and temporary side effects, which include:
- Swelling
- Redness
- Tenderness or discomfort
- Bruising

Before and after treatment
General advice for you who are about to have, or have had, this treatment.

Before treatment
- Tell us about any medicines (especially blood thinners), allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, herpes and previous treatments.
- Come without make-up in the area to be treated, and with freshly washed skin.
- Avoid alcohol the day before and on the day unless otherwise agreed.
- Avoid sunburn and active skin irritation in the area.
After treatment
- Avoid make-up and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours.
- Use a gentle cleanser and plenty of moisturiser; avoid acids/retinol for the first 3–5 days unless otherwise agreed.
- Use sunscreen (at least SPF 30) daily.
- Avoid sauna, tanning beds and hard exercise for the first 24–48 hours.
This is normal
- Small swellings (wheals) at the injection sites that disappear within 1–3 days.
- Slight redness, tenderness and small bruises.
- The skin often feels dry or tight before it becomes softer over weeks.
When to get in touch
Get in touch if you experience any of this:
- In case of severe pain, white/pale or bluish skin, visual disturbances, difficulty breathing, severe swelling that spreads, fever or pus: call the clinic on 403 11 017 immediately (outside opening hours: legevakt 116 117 (out-of-hours emergency clinic); in case of acute danger 113 (emergency number)).
- Hard, painful lumps that do not go away or that grow.
